DJI Mini 4 Pro – Detailed Review of Its Specs & Features

But this new, DJI’s Mini 4 Pro is a lightweight drone, weighing less than 249 grams. This weight includes the Intelligent Flight Battery, propellers, and a microSD card. Because it’s under this weight limit, you generally don’t need special training or certification to fly it in most countries. So, definitely, it’s also important for everyone to check local laws and regulations before taking it off. We are in 2024 and many drones are lined up for 2024-25, but for some reasons, some of those could become close to them in quality, specifications, battery durability and flight timing etc.

With the standard Intelligent Flight Battery, it can stay airborne for up to 34 minutes. If you opt for the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus (not available in Europe), that extends to 45 minutes. These times were measured under controlled conditions, flying forward at a constant speed in a windless lab environment.

II) Max Hovering Time

When hovering, it can stay aloft for 30 minutes with the standard battery and up to 39 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus (again, not sold in Europe).

III) Range & Distance

a) Max Flight Distance 

It can cover up to 18 kilometers with the standard battery and up to 25 kilometers with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. These distances were measured while flying at specific speeds in a windless environment at 20 meters above sea level.

b) Max Wind Speed Resistance

• It can handle winds of up to 10.7 meters per second
• Max Pitch Angle: The drone can tilt up to 35 degrees
• Operating Temperature Range: It operates between -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F)
