#8 Some Important Pointers About DJI Avata 2

(I) We need to buy either a DJI RC Motion product or DJI Goggles product separately for the respective feature that we want to use. Check the instructions for more details

(II) We have to buy this separately compared to an older DJI drone model where many things were included already

(III) Talking about other DJI camera drones like DJI Mini 4 Pro and DJI Air 3. The HDR video comes in two situations:

• (a) When EIS is off, and you’re recording at certain resolutions and frame rates
• (b) When EIS is on certain settings, and we could do recording at certain resolutions and frame rates

(IV) To use Gyroflow stabilization, WE have to turn off electronic stabilization in the goggles menu before flying and set the angle to wide-angle. This helps us make sure the footage gets stabilized properly.

(VI) The longest the drone can fly without stopping is measured when it’s flying at a constant speed in a calm place by the sea, with certain camera settings, until the battery runs out. The numbers are just for reference. Pay attention to the messages on the goggles while flying.

(VII) Don’t plug in the charger, connect other devices, or put in or take out batteries while the drone is charging.

(VIII) The drone can send signals up to 13 kilometers away under certain conditions, but only if there’s no interference. Pay attention to messages on the goggles about returning home and make sure to use the RTH option when flying in a zone where there’s a lot of interference. Honestly whatever promos and introductory videos by the companies are shot, they are done where there’s zero interference of any kind. So, don’t get shocked when things don’t work properly.

(IX ) The DJI Avata 2 drone is set up to automatically come back home if it loses connection, but you can change this setting if you want

(X) If the 5.8GHz frequency isn’t available, you won’t be able to share the screen to your phone wirelessly. It’s better to connect with a wire instead.
