Flight Time

The intelligent batteries let us enjoy the 48-minute long flight. While we can use the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus and extend the flight time to 51-minutes. But due that the its weight might go over 250-grams so that’s up to you how and what exactly do you want to do with this drone. We were happy with the sub-250 grams with Intellight Flight Battery and do not want to bother with the plus battery at this time. So more than half an hour of time is not bad to get the desired footage captured and photos taken on its camera without disturbing its weightclass.

Mini 3 Transmission System at 10 km Distance

Let’s talk about Mini 3’s transmission system. It comes with a 02 digital video transmission system and we get 720p/30fps live feed from the exnteded range of 10 km. It’s transmission is also very reliable from the DJI which is done through their new anti-interference technology. The 10.7 m/s of DJI Mini 3 is good enough for this drone to hover steadily in place and deliver very stable images in various conditions. Mini 3 does not have tri-directional avoidance which we saw in the Pro version previously.

Mini 3 has QuickShots like the pro version of this drone which is a complete suite for auto-piloting and defined paths. It helps you capture the most iconic cinematography on your drone that comes way cheaper than its predecessors. It also allows us to capture the landscapes and do the vertical shooting for social media. In every possible way Mini 3 is totally a drone for everyone not just those who could shell more than a couple of thousand dollars.

It’s a boon for the new users. Every beginner can try it without giving it a second thought. There are reasons for that. For instance it has Auto-Take-off and easy to execute auto RTH feature that takes away the pains of getting it back once it’s in the air.
